Tuesday, May 16: Part of Norwegian Heritage Week in Thief River Falls, MN. The presentation takes place at 7 p.m. in the Northland Community and Technical College theater.
Tuesday, April 11: Watonwan County Historical Society Annual Meeting. First Presbyterian Church in St. James, MN. Dinner at 6:30 pm, performance at 7:30. This is a ticketed event. Tickets may be secured by contacting the Historical Society.
Saturday, April 8: Hutchinson Sons of Norway at Faith Lutheran Church, 335 Main Street South in Hutchinson. Our "More Theodora" concert will start at 7 p.m.
Tuesday, February 21: Waconia Sons of Norway. Our "More Theodora" concert at Faith Lutheran Church, 800 Waconia Parkway in Waconia, MN. Theprogram starts at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
Satruday, November 12: Return engagement for Mankato Sons of Norway featuring our "More Theodora" concert at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 720 S. 2nd St. in Mankato. After a lodge meeting the concert will begin about 6:30 p.m. The public is welcome to this free concert.

Sunday, September 25: Our "More Theodora" concert at 2:30 pm in Bjorling Recital Hall at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. Free and open to the public.
Sunday, September 18: Annual Service at Fort Ridgely and Dale Lutheran Church on 430th St. off of MN 19 between Fairfax and Franklin, MN, 2 p.m. We will be offering our premiere performance of a hymn composed by Cormontan on January 6, 1894, while she was a member of the congregation and their church musician.
Friday, September 9: Fosston, MN Arts Center, 403 N. Foss Ave. in Fosston. 7:00 pm. This will be our original Cormontan concert with information about Theodora's "Fosston connection": her brother Magnus and his son Evan, both of whom lived in Fosston. The concert will be preceded by a Scandinavian Dessert Buffet. Open to the public.
Saturday, September 10: Winnipeg, Canada at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church on 637 Buckingham Road in Winnipeg, 7:30 pm. This will be our original Cormontan presentation with some information about our trip to Norway in 2015. Public invited--$15.00 admission (cash) at the door.
Sunday, June 26: A special "More Theodora" concert at the original Aase Haugen Home where Theodora Cormontan lived the last five years of her life. Time: 3:00 pm. Location: a few miles west of Decorah, Iowa. Take Highway 9 west out of Decorah. Turn left at Dry Run Rd. (past the John Deere dealership), then left again on South Bear Rd. Address: 2248 South Bear Road, Decorah. Public welcome. Admission is free.
Thursday, June 16: Return engagement to Canby Sons of Norway, featuring our "More Theodora" concert. The presentation takes place at 7 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on the corner of Haarfager and 2nd Street just of US 75 (110 Haarfager Avenue North). The public is invited. A free will donation will be solicited for the Canby Theater Development Project.
Sunday, May 15: Return engagement to St. Cloud Sons of Norway. Location: Atonement Lutheran Church, 1144 North 29th Avenue. Public welcome. Concert and dinner $25 at the door. 4 pm concert. This is our new "More Theodora" concert featuring mostly new repertoire and some music by composers who influenced Cormontan, including Edvard Grieg.

This is one of the beautiful churches that Theodora served as a church musician in the 1890's. A free-will offering will be taken to support the continuing restoration/upkeep of the church. Saturday/Sunday, March 28-29 - 100th anniversary celebration of the Aase Haugen Home in Decorah, Iowa--the senior home where Theodora and her sister Eivinda lived beginning in 1917. There is a concert on Saturday at 7 p.m. and on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Both presentations are at the Decorah Lutheran Church. Free and open to the public.
February 28-March 1- A 45 minute presentation at each of three services at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls, MN. Services are 5:30 pm on Saturday, February 28 and 10 am on Sunday, March 1. Address is 301 N. Lincoln Street. The public is invited to attend.

Theodora at Mindekirken
We presented some never-before-heard music of Theodora Cormontan! This concert took place at Mindekirken--The Norwegian Lutheran Memorial Church in Minneapolis.

Bonnie Jorgensen accompanied the Riverlights vocal octet in a concert of Christmas favorites. She was also featured as piano soloist playing Charles Lindberg arrangements of "Go Tell It On The Mountain" and "Auld Lang Syne".

The Nobel Conference Concert
"A State of Mind and Music: New Songs by Composers from Minnesota."
This recital presented vocal solo music written in the last ten years that provides insight into the creative minds of a number of composers who call Minnesota home. Represented composers included Pulitzer Prize-winning Dominick Argento, Libby Larsen (the 2010 winner of the George Peabody Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Music in America), Stephen Paulus, and Gustavus alumnus Steve Heitzeg. World premieres of commissioned music by Timothy Berry and Todd Harper were featured, as well as works by Jocelyn Hagen and Hiram Titus.
Professor Michael Jorgensen, baritone, and Bonnie Jorgensen, piano, coached the music with the composers, and were assisted in the recital by Dr. Scott Moore, Music Dept Chair, and student musicians. Six of the composers were in attendance as we celebrated their musical genius.
